Hi there I have a Toshiba P200 17.1" , and the LCD has gone blackish , you can see the backlight in the background , it will work ok sometimes , I have checked the LCD to MoBo lead with a Ohm meter and it seems to be ok , not sure what the the problem is . when I connect it to a external monitor it works ok , the backlight is coming on , I suspect it is the LCD , but I would like to check for sure before I part with my hard earned cash . Question , I have a spare Dell Latitude D600 screen 14.1" , with the same Connector on the LCD ( 30pin ) could I use that with the P200 Invertor to see if there is a signal / feed from the MoBo connector . cheers spike
i just replaced a Toshiba 14.6 s screen, Your screen sounds like it is going out, You will need to replace it with the same Model number on that screen, (MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE NUMBER STRAIGHT FROM THE REAR OF THE SCREEN) It must have the same connection pin size..
