my laptop will trun off if i run anything big as a online game( I am a online gamer so this the problem). it will trun off randomly as if it over heated but it was never hot. the i saw that the cpu usage would sky rocket so fast it was shutting it down.I still do not know the cause of this. if someone can help me please do. i own a Hp Envy t1400 CTO beats edition laptop with a Intel(R) core(TM) i5cpu M460 @2.53 GHz processor the RAM is 4GB and with windows 7
This laptop is not a laptop for gaming, that is why it is crashing.. You will need a laptop with a big Video card and allot more ram/memory..
ive been running all type of games. this problem is a sudden thing. i made it so its can eep up to up to date games. also love listening to music so thats why i got it
Hi, Just be reminded Higher Graphic games can make your CPU and Video Card to heat fast because they are making more work to process all the graphic details in the game.. Ok let say your laptop can handle heavy games that are new in the market or gaming zone, But the question is can your laptop stand a long hour of heavy gaming? As we all know that laptop heat sink is small and compact compare to a real gaming pc that has a large heat sink and a thermal cooling system to prevent it from heating up! I agree with Ghostman 1, maybe your laptop is heating up too much.. when playing a game specially if your into it you will never notice the time that you consume! let say 5 hours of heavy gaming, that will be enough time to make your laptop to heat inside..So the solution maybe is you buy a real gaming PC that will surely burn you out with a loooong hours of heavy gaming, or you can just but a blower or a fan to put under your laptop to prevent it from heating up fast.. you can buy a fan or a blower to sit your laptop on it from your local computer stores..hope this clear things up... have a great gaming day to you
I can't think of any reason your laptop would develop such a sudden problem other than some sort of infection. If your fan gets blocked or smashed your CPU can overheat and your PC will shut down to prevent damage, but this tends to be a gradual thing. CPUs overheating is the main hardware-based cause of PCs powering down without warning. If you are capable of checking if your cooling system is blocked, please eliminate this possibility. If it isn't the heat, it could be your HDD. Scan your local drive (and/or the drive where the game is installed). If there are bad sectors, this is most likely the cause of the crashes. Try to fix the corruption or replace the drive - you will have to eventually. If it's not your HDD or an overheating issue it could be your graphics drivers. Delete the device and reinstall them. If it is none of those things, it is most likely malware. In this case I find it quicker to reinstall the whole system rather than try to combat the malware. You should have all your personal files backed up...
