I have a seagate 2.5 HDD,since this morning my laptop showed that the bootmgr is missing (First time to see it on a win7). I run the tests provided by dell (I have a dell inspiron 5040) and it showed that it has an HDD problem,so i used it as an external,it showed that it has to be formatted before i can access it,so i tried to format it,and it says that windows cannot format this drive, so i tried to save data using 3-4 well known data recovery software which either they won't show the drive,or they show it,but by pressing the scan button it stops after 1-2 seconds. So i used another hdd enclosure on another pc and it gave me a BSOD, then i tried hooking it up as a secondary HDD on a third desktop pc which caused it not to pass the bios screen,so if my HDD is totally dead how can i save some files??Thanks

If you format that drive you will lose all info and data... If you want to get your info / important data off that damage hard drive you will have to use a desktop and piggy back it... You will also need some special hardware...

    1. Stop Using your hard drive

    2. Unless youre confident about your data recovery skills with software like PC inspector, do not risk the data. Take you HD to the professionals instead.
