My video card displays everything just fine when using DVI but as soon as I switch over to HDMI from my monitor, I get different colored artifacts.

I'm not sure if this is a cable problem (it works fine on my Blu-Ray player and my TV) a monitor problem, or a video card problem, but I've had this type of artifact before and I thought I'd start here.

HDMI Cable is 6' long. Not sure how much that matters, as I said it works just fine on my blu-ray.

    Thank you for your response!

Tried updating drivers, still having the same issues. I might also add that even though the resolution is set the the monitor's native 1920x1080, it does not take up the whole screen. I have like a letterboxing around the outside of the entire screen with no visual artifacts in that area.

    An update to the situation:

I fixed the issue with the outskirts of the screen being letterboxed, and was able to greatly reduce the number of artifacts on screen by changing the pixel format. This leads me to believe that my hardware is good, but it has something to do with the software.

I'll still need help tweaking it to remove the artifacts entirely, though.

Use latest or downgrade drivers of your GPU.. I've read posts like these in other forums, one fix was downgrading their gpu drivers..
