Hi! Glad to be here!! I need some help, I recently adquire an evga nvidia gt520 graphics card, pci-e, it works fine, but everytime I turn on my computer there's no video, the screen shows "no signal", I have to turn it off, remove the video card, turn it on, get into the bios settings and set the video to onboard, turn it off, insert the graphics card again, turn it on, get into the bios settings and set the video to pci-e, restart and the video card works again. there's no problem with the onboard video, it seems to happen that while the computer is off, it won't recognize the video card when turning it on. This is driving me crazy, I have to do that tedious process everytime, and I have no idea why this is happening..it is like I'm never turning it off!!! My computer is an amd 64 x2 dual core on an asrock alive nf6g-vsta mobo running xp. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

it's a non-certified power supply with an output of 525 watts, since it is non-certified, I'm told that 525 would be like 300 watts, not really sure about this, is it true?. thanks for answering.

The cmos battery is most likely dead. and each time you turn off the computer, the bios settings are reset.
