Usb Type C Video

    hi i am new here and i have a few questions

    what i read about usb type c is that it support video output
    but does it support video input ?

    if yes is it possible to for example plug gameconsole to laptop ?
    ( ps3 > hdmi to usb c adapter > pc)

    or do we have to use capture card ?
    then is there a capture card for ps3 to usb type c


    ps. i have tried to understand what all type c pinouts means but its to complicated for me :(

    and please dont write no or yes please explian in details why it works or why it dosent

    USB C is just starting to hit, and last I checked, no video cards are coming out with a USB C output. VGA is going away in lieu of HDMI and Display Port and then you need a display itself that is set up to utilize the connection. AMD and nVidia are producing gaming cards or professional ones with it.
    Basically, right now, no major company in graphics is making a USB C input or output for graphics. It *can* be done in theory with some Display Port technology, but unless it proves an advantage over HDMI and Display Port, it's going to be a battle for acceptance.

    Essentially, your interested in something that currently has little traction .
