    Hi,

I forgot the specs of my motherboard and memory. How can I find the AGP speed of the motherboard and what kind of memory stick I have? I know my motherboard is by Gigabyte supporting a P4 2.66 Ghz and my memory stick is a 512 DDR. I want to upgrade my computer and don't know what is and isn't compatible. I don't have a video card as I am using the on-board video from my motherboard. Is this sufficient to play PC games? If not, what video cards do you recommend that is decent Thanks for your time.

Thnx Waffle, Download that program Waffle specified, install it and run it, click on summary, take a screenshot when the program is maximised to full screen, save it using paint or another program, save it as a JPEG or JPG file, and upload it to the forums in a post.

If your Video is onboard then i doubt it is powerful enough to play games, and i am sure that it will not play the latest games.

As for suggesting Video cards what budget do you have in mind?

The general cards i would recommend are:
    ATI 9700Pro 128MB
    ATI 9800Pro 128MB / 256MB
    Nvidia 6600GT 128MB / 256MB
    Nvidia 6800LE 128MB / 256MB
    Nvidia 6800 128MB / 256MB

It depends what games you want to play really and how long you would like it to last. Post back with more details.

Thank you both for your assistance. I will post the screenshot once I get a chance.
