Well.... I beat it just now. I dont think it was very good. Kinda seemed short of a game. Oh well... I guess it was worth the money. Still a better game than 99% of them out there right now.
I got the game 3 weeks ago and i still havn't completed it, although i don't spend alot of time playing games so it can be expected. I personally thought that the game was very good, i think that it was in the same league as the original, i'm just looking forward really to HL3 and the modifications that will be released from january onwards (when they start finishing the mods) as the SDK has only just been released.
Agreed. And if you use a console command to turn the clipping on bodies off, or whatever, you can build up a little pile of bodies a la Far Cry, before blasting them all off in to outer space!
Well i just finished it with an incredible amount of minimal effort. Highly disappointed with how short the game was.. Where was the manipulating gun? i didnt have it once through out the game, merely had the grav gun..
Well it would, its probably written by kids that have never played HL1 when it was released cos they would have been to young. Half-Life 2 was a good game but a MAJOR disappointment, i really really really am disappointed with it, its a good game, but its TOO short.. i finished it with minimal effort, and the end.. OMG whats that all about... Terrible ending.. not like HL1 where you were happy with the ending, the satisfaction of it all.. and now.. above all other things we've got to bloody wait for HL3 to make any sense of that rubbish ending. HL3 better come quicker than HL2 did.
The Souce Engine is practically the best one next to UT's. They got all the graphics, physics and general game making power they need to make HL3. So yeah,Valve, hurry the :swear: up already.
They were seniors, so around 17-18, who write the majority of the paper. I wouldn't doubt them playing HL1 as the newspaper crew are geeks (power)
