Ok here is the setup I am looking at ordering. Please reply with whether or not you think this is a good system. Also, I noticed in the pictures that these motherboards have a lot of wiring and stuff. Do they come with detailed instructions on how to hook them up to the case? Case Misc Ram Cpu Video Cad Mobo
The wires for the front panel connectors like reset/on switches etc will be explained in the manual. All you need is to find the wires from the case and lpug them into their respective pins on the mobo. Mobos are quite easy to put into cases, first you put the brass standoffs in where the holes in your mobo and case match then put your mobo on them. After that screw them in and connect everything else.
yea m8 everything looks gr8 besides wheres the hdd?? you should have no truble putting everything together m8 but if ya do post bck and i and im sure everyone else will help. when you've put all your case connecters to your mobo the power l.e.d and the hdd working l.e.d might not work if this is the case just turn the connecter round to reverse the polarity as the power l.e.d and hdd l.e.d (light emmiting diode) are both diodes they only allow a current to flow in one directio so just be weary of this if by chance you do get them the wrong way round don't worry if not damage anything just turn them round
As NF has already stated, you WILL need a better powersupply, that powersupply is a Generic powersupply, and it is not powerful enough to power your system, even if it was a good one it still would not provide enough power. I highly suggest that you get a powersupply from: Enermax Antec OCZ Tagan ThermalTake and i highly recommend not getting anything less than 480W, they generally are expensive, however if you skimp on a powersupply its like buying a ferrari engine with explosives that will set off when you start the engine.. pointless and a waste of money.
