Not sure which section to post this in....! I bought some parts for my new computer on newegg.com last week and I get an e-mail saying that my shipping address isn't verified with my credit card. I call my credit card and my shipping/billing address and phone number is verified with them. I have been trying to call newegg.com and it is constantly busy, how can an huge company like this have a busy signal. So I tried e-mailing them for the past 3 days and I have not received one response. I have heard such great things about newegg, but this has been some terrible customer support on their part and I was curious if others have ran into this or is this just a fluke?
Most likely a big fluke, being the year just changed and it has been the hollidays it's likely just a glitch and people out for the holliday weekend.
Newegg is ususally pretty fast, but I don't believe they're operating during the weekend. Additionally, if the CC company isn't responding, they may not have anything to tell you.
It is pretty bad when newegg's 800 number has been busy for 2 days now and zipzoomfly has already shipped out my order that I placed on the same day that I order from newegg. Newegg has been a big disappointment so far. Hopefully they will get their phone lines working or e-mail me back.
