Hey guys, Just upgraded to a p4 3ghz, now that ive got a decent enough chip i want to slowly upgrade it, cause im not goin to feel the benifit of the chip with 256 of ram so im thinking of getting 1gb, but its to much money for me at mo, so thinking of getting a 512 then getting another when i can afford it, what do you think? I mean, what would be the best place to get it?

yeh i bought my mobo from ebuyer and it took 4 days to come! (only work days) was gd for my money though, im looking to get a new HDD aswell, just something like 40gb because i only want it to run games on as i will get it with 7200rpm (the 80gb one i got now is some cheap make the guy i built the pc with got, i didnt have a clu back then, not like i do now ) also i have been advised on getting it with 8mb cache, that a gd idea?
apparently its about 30% than 2mb cache which would b v gd for my games, wouldnt jump half as much then, will have a look at my local pc fair when it turns up next sunday, can get alot of stuff v cheap
