I am useing asus probe program to monitor my cpu. The room temp is about 78-80, cpu temp shows 33c and motherboard temp shows 33c at idle. I looked at the temp in the bois and it shows cpu 42c and motherboard 32 at idle.Is that a reasonable temp. Which software is more accurate. Please help if you can. Thank You.

    Note: Motherboard Asus p4c800-e deluxe

    Temps are fine
once you start hitting in the 50C you should start to think about replacing heatsink/geting better fans.

Do you mean when I hit in the 50c range at idle I should look at replaceing the heatsink or fan. Please reply. Thank You

when you hit 50C you should get a little questionable. I think the Athlons fry at like 68-75C. at 50C Idle that is too hot for idle.
