Game Crash due to one bent pin on VGA Connector?

    Yo

    is it possible for a game to crash if one of the pins connecting monitor to gfx card is bent? I mean this pin is practically squashed flat. PC works fine for everything else except for games, and shuts off randomly.

    By crash I mean monitor goes off, sound on game goes bad, monitor back on, either reboots or displays message "Out of freqeuncy 30hz (down arrow) 14.9 hz" and a RGB bar.

    looks like your monitor is either ignoring or sending bad signals :( try bending it back carefully with a knife or something if you can
