Yeah I'd go for the XT too.

Usually Sapphire comes with a great software bundle.

I'd go with the 9700 myself, it will perform a little better in the long run, yes it has 128MB's or mem compaired to this 9600XT's 256 but neither card will do too well with games that require more than 128 anyway, because the 9700 has a 256-bit mem interface and 8 pipelines it will come as a larger pay off since the price is so similar. Hope this helps.
Just remember that you won't get anything but the card with the 9700 as it's a refurbished item.

I'd go for the ATI ALL-IN-WONDER 9700 Pro its a excellent card! I have the ATI 9500 @ 9700 which I got from Anti-Trend! which has served me well, Half Life 2 plays on high detail on most settings and medium for others.

plus you get the extra features like the tv tuner is well.

ending up ordering a Rosewill 9800pro for 130 bucks on newegg :) along with a system fan to sit underneath it. I think I will be pleased with the performance over my old geforce 2 mx400 32mb, lol.

    Thanks again for the feedback.

    no way on the 9600xt.

    9600XT-4 pipeline, 128-bit memory.
    9700pro-8 pipelines, 265-bit memory.
