Overclocking Radeon 9800PRO

    Hello All; was wondering how one would go about overclocking a Sapphire Radeon 9800Pro without using the Redline Utility that apparently comes bundled with the retail packaging. Thanx!

    Well, you will need to use an overclocking tool to OC the video card. Having said that, you can look at Rage3D Tweak or RivaTuner as the best ones out there. ATi Tool is another one, but I just don't really care for it.

    I use omega drivers and they come bundled with radlinker, an easy overclocker

    i recommend ati tool worked well for me with quite a few diff cards ive used.

    ATI Tool

    went from

    378core 338 mem to
    425.25core 366.25mem


    wit ati tool. runs good.

    yea id reli recommend them but hey theres never somethin as good to overclock with as the bios, but i suppose the software is a bit more to the safe side
