I have 2 computers, a laptop with wifi built in (acer travelmate 4000wlmi) and an advent pc with a sagem dongle (supplied with my wanadoo livebox used for wireless internet access). On my desktop pc however there is no option to create a wireless network and the only network that shows up when i search for wireless networks is wanadoo. Also when I installed the dongle it said it was a high speed device and that my usb port wasn't however the internet seems to work fine. Do i need extra kit?

Just a thought can wifi things only connect to one network at one?

Well yes wifi devices can only connect to one network at a time. Is this wanadoo livebox a wireless router/hub - if it is you should be able to connect your desktop and laptop to the same hub. Also you shouldnt have to create your own wireless network, all you should have to do is connect to the wireless network already in place transmitted by the router/hub on both machines.
