trying to find some software that will write to dvd ram (preferably free) as i have a hard drive/dvd-r/ram recorder and would like to write to ram discs to use in the recorder
is DVD RAM faster? holds more? I really don't understand the concept of it, i got 2xDVD-RAM and Idk what the hell it is haha
thanks for that, i didnt know much myself, but hopefully this will help, but has also added to my confusion as i have read that no burning software is necessary http://www.answers.com/topic/dvd-ram http://www.ramprg.com/en/index.html apparently dvd ram can be written to 100,000 as against 1000 for dvdr/w
DVD-RAM is different because it can be written to and rea from immediately, in real time. You don't have to cmpile a list of files to be burned its used like a pen drive. Windows XP supports DVD-RAM, but you need to format it first with the FAT32 file system, then you'll be able to use it.
awesome, sounds like a thing that will be used alot in the future, im guessin with longhorn? its also how RAM Hard Drives are being developed, in like 10gb increments, so far so good
Thats good, but its when the auxilary current running through the drive goes bad and you lose your data that you wish you had conventional. :d
