    it seems that the sempron line will recieve the 64 bit support, by the end of 2006-7 it is estimated that at least 30-50 percent of people will be switching over to 64 bit technology

    all semprons except socket A are 64-bit, they just have it disabled I heard, someone clearify?

    I said this months ago can't remember where.
    A socket754 Semron is a cut down A64 Hammer. It has half the cache and x86-64 disabled. It makes sense since they don't have to redesign a whole new CPU.
