wuts up guys, i just got my psp yesterday, and call me stupid but i didnt have enough money to buy a game (how retarted am i) , before i actually went to buy it i found some website that has emulators you can put on it so i thought id just play some gba till i could get a game. but when i brought the psp home it was a 1.51 firmware version and all the homebrew stuff and emulators on the website only cover upto the 1.5 version. does any1 kno about another website that already has stuff for th 1.51 version. Thanks in advance
Sony is onto those sites with the emulators so I do believe that they're trying to put a stop to it with the release of 1.51. There may be sites out there just emerging but I don't know how legal this is.
I think your' pretty much stuck with nothing at the moment, I have version 1.5 and can run most homebrew games/apps on it, like a Media Player etc the site I go to for psp related stuff is www.pspupdates.com which is a good site and will not help you with anything illegal.
the only thing I dislike about the PSP is that it can't play mini dvd discs or mini cd discs, you have to buy your own memory card for your own movies which costs 200$ for a gig i think : (
i dont want anything illegal i just wanted to play some gba on my psp till i could get a game. the gig stick is about $140
