when you set up the new router maybe the old configuration is causing conflict try checking the way it is configure

what kind of router you got and can you explain a little how you have setup your network
    like how many computers?
how are they connected are all of them connected wireless or you have one with a cable?
in my router to acess configuration settings and other stuff do this on your internet explorer or firefox or whatever you have
http://192.168.1.1/ try checking maybe something you have to enable or something you have to disable

Don't bother troubleshooting the router, that has nothing to do with the problem. What you're talking about is Windows filesharing. We've got a brief HowTo on simple Windows file sharing, so check it out. If that doesn't help, post again and we'll help you out.

make sure your firewalls (if you have any) are set to allow other network users to view files / printers, that happened with mine, i couldnt work out what was happening but then i changed that option and it worked, also check under net work settings to see if you can change an option about letting other users view/change files
