It all started 6 days ago when my MSN stoped working.....it has become very frusterating. >_______________< :x: :swear: :x: I get the message. "We are unable to sign you in to .NET Messenger Service, possibly because of a problem with the service or with your Internet Connection. Please make sure that you are connected to the Internet." I have tried uninstalling it then re-installing it and that didn't do anything. I have removed MSN 7.0 and then installed MSN 6.0 and that didn't fix it either. I have other chat programs like AIM and Yahoo and they can still connect. PLEASE HELP! :swear:
you could prob try 3 things 1. check out the faq's 2. reset your password or 3. delete your internet connection and start up msn and try to sign in and then it should open up the network connection wizard and then redo your connection! if all else fails you could email them.
Assuming you've got XP it should be as simple as Control Panel -> Network Connections -> right-click on your 'net connection -> Delete.
But note that you should record your connection settings such as usernames and passwords etc.. otherwise if you forget them your gonna have to ring your ISP to get them back and thats sometimes difficult to say the least.
I can't delete the internet connection im using, it won't let me. Here is a pic. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v215/KageX/HELP.jpg
It wont let you delete it because its in use but im pretty sure you have to delete your broadband connection, if you dont know the settings as i stated it might be an idea to get the person who set it up (if not you) to give you the settings or just do it themselves as it will be less hassle on you! Are you using a shared internet connection through another computer?
I used to use a shared internet connect but not anymore. But I think it is a problem with the way my internet is set up, cause certain programs won't connect to the internet ever since I moved. I just tryed installing and using Google Earth but it says it can't detect an internet connection and that I should check to make sure im conneted to the internet.
