what is vivo??

    i have noticed that most of todays graphics cards, include vivo, now i suspect vivo means video in, and video out, but what exatly is it's purpose?

    can anybody tell me please?

    It's to allow you to capture and output video through analog means with the appropriate dongle. The only other requirement is installing the video capture driver (WDM driver), which is available on the CD that comes with most video cards. Of course, if you have firewire available, you may opt to use that instead.

    so it means you can watch tv with your graphics card?

    no, it lets you record from analog devices and output analog signals to televisions etc

    but there is video in, and video out, i know what video out is now, using computer on tv etc, but what exatly is video in for, what can it be used for?

    video in is used if you want to record of a analog vcr or analog camcorder for instance

    yeah its a good way of getting analogue camera stuff into digital on your PC if you dont have a digital/dv video camera
