In your use cp, there should be somthing like a faviourate thread are, and in a thread it would be nice ot have a buton to place the thrad in the faviourate threads are. this would prevent you from having to always check your subscriptions page.
Not a bad suggestion, and would be possible I'd guess. Either manually select which threads you'd like to view, or have it so that any thread within the last 7 days with more than 50 views or 10 replies gets added, for example. On a side note, your thread is verging on illegible, so please try and make it easier to read .
woops, sorry, i always start rushing and mess everyitng up . there is alot of improvements that could be made to the forum, lots and lots and lots, just no one can think of them
I disagree, and I'm sure many others will too. These forums are fine, the information and services we provide to visitors is (usually) helpful and accurate. I'm not the oldest member here, but in the year and a half I've been around, nothing has needed improving IMO.
RSS feeds? Now I feel n00bish. Seems like a pretty good idea to me, I'd like to see it implemented. This forum is extremely well constructed and is 100% functional almost all the time. That's worth quite a bit on a popular forum as I've been on others that have random breakdowns and MySQL problems.
I thinks it's a good idea! I have lots of fav threads and everytime i want to read them i have to search through my subscribed! Gets a bit tedious at times! At the bottom right corner of your browser there is a little icon, click that and then subscibe to whichever feed suits you! It puts a link in your favourites/bookmarks and whenever you open your browser it updates the list of new threads!
Thanks Pelvis, I'm not seeing it but that's probably because I'm using Safari on a Mac as my PC is currently not connected to the net.
Hey, the fav threads thing would be really good actually if there is anyone like me, the laptop and computer upgrade thread i made will go inactive eventually, i am not going to be getting a laptop, or maybe the computer upgrade for a while, so, i would want to keep track of those 2 thread to look at the suggestions, and to help me make my mind up, but once there inactive, i am going to struggle to find those threads, and i wouldent really want to treck round the list subscriptions area :\
Here's a simple solution for inactive threads: bookmark them! I have a few threads that I've had to call up again, usually in answer to someone posting a very similiar question that was answered on that thread. All I need to do is open up the bookmark and voilĂ !
