    Anyone familiar with this product?

    I have trouble installing it:

After I installed "the game driver 3.1" and plugged in psx/usb bridge (following instructions here, as written in the manual) to install hardware it asks me to install the driver, again?

When I run it from CD it's says the hardware cannot be installed because driver cannot be found?!?!

Ok, so I thought I'd download the new game driver 4.0, from rockfire website, installed it again - still the same problem?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I've not used the one you mention above but have used this one Joytech Play.com USB Dual PS2 to PC Convertor XP which works great!

for the problem I'd suggest uninstalling the drivers from the device manager, connect the converter and then install the driver.

btw have you tested to see if it works? go to game controllers in control panel.

It says "Your gameport or gameport drivers are not properly configured - Consult the device manager"

    Any ideas?

P.S. This is the first time I'm using PC for gaming - excuse

try removing the drivers and letting windows deal with it and then test it.

which os are you on? are you sure the rockfire supports your os?

also go to game controllers in control panel and add a custom controller without installing the provided drivers.

    XP.

I've done all of that before I asked for help here but still nothing.

Anyways, thanks for your help. I think I'll just try the one you're using and if that doesn't work, get a PC gamepad instead.
