Well i ran it and got in the high 6800s now i looked at the 3d mark 03 thread and people with lower specs were scoring considerably higher than me. I would have thought an x800 xl, 1 gb of low latency ram(patriot 2-3-2-5), and an athlon 3700+ SD core would score better than that. I get a 5086 in 3D mark 05. I expected a bigger difference. Is this a normal score for those specs.

5086 in 3d mark 05, that seems good.

i have generic 1gb ram, 3.0ghz pentium 4, and x800xt pe, i only get 12,000 in 3d mark 03, well you seem to be underscoring, you should at least get 10,000.

thats what i thought becasue when i go the future mark and look at other people who have stock x800 xl they all score in the 10,000. And i got a 20,000 in 3d mark 01, and that seems about right. Its just 03 that seems to score weird.

Make sure you're comparing similar systems first. Then you'll also want to make sure you've installed your chipset drivers. Not everything needs it, but the 3DMark tests tend to be sensetive to that part of the deal.

have you got AMD's Cool 'n Quiet enabled? I found it locked my processor at 1.2 GHz when running benchmarks even when i updated to the latest version. Not tried a BIOs update, but those things scare me :D

Ive tried countless times just to get it to work. Ive gone through 6 Asus tech supports guys and no one has helped me, maybe you have a suggestion. i have all the Bios configured, and the program loaded, but it always stays at stock speeds.
