pc monitor(i think) please help!!!

    when i turn on my pc the monitor power comes on but nothing happens,also the lights n my keyboard all flash once and then theres no response at all

    Is there any POST beeps at all?
    Also have you made sure that the Video Card, CPU and RAM are secured properly in their slots?

    Try clearing your CMOS. Its a jumper you have to use on the motherboard somewhere stated in your mobo manual. If you can't find it just take the battery out the mobo and put it back in. Make sure you touch the case or power supply before you make contact incase of ESD.

    the cpu and ram are secured i dont have a video card my monitors vga cable plugs straight into my motherboard
    i dont know what post beeps are.

    cant find the jumer and theres no cmos battery.

    and my motherboard is a hitachi flora ds1(p-133) .video system-cirrus logic gd5434(2mb)
