I currently have a radeon 9200 and it sucks ass. I get around 25 fps on all low settings for games like bf2 and hl2 and my computer will randomly crash because of this damn card.

I can choose from 1 of three AGP cards :

    http://www.microdirect.co.uk/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=10114&GroupID=27

    http://www.microdirect.co.uk/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=8528&GroupID=27

    http://www.microdirect.co.uk/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=9498&GroupID=27

Can anyone tell me which one to go for and how well you think my pc will run with it. Im looking for good fps on all high settings with games such as bf2.
    My other specs are :
    amd athlon 3200+
    1gb ram

look on here they are some good cards, i've just ordered the XFX 6600GT for £123, awesome price, i was going to get the HIS X700 Pro but then i suddenly realised "why am i buying a card because i like the look of the cooler?!
    Go with a 6600...

so your saying go with the middle link in my post?

Those cards are a bit too dear for me, and I don't want any of the games that come with them.

i dont think you will be able to play BF2 on all high settings with those cards, withy my x800xt pe i get about 60fps, but it freezes all the time :\.

Go with the last one, it's a good deal and provides you with the most power of all those listed, the difference is minimal but DDR3 is a step above DDR2 obviously. The 6600 is nice but it's very low clockspeeds do hurt a bit in this case. You should be able to play BF2 pretty well with this card, maxed it won't run great but you'd need on helluva rig for that anyway so don't worry about it.

my system would run b42 on all settings maxed if i had about 2gb high end ram, so it goes to show, you dont need a super ace rig to run it, maybe just an ace graphics card, and about £400's worth of ram :p (for best performace)
