I have been looking at memory which mostly seems to have some kind of incluced heatsink of either aluminium or copper or something to the effect and moulded to the sticks.

with mobo's where the slotsare touching (most i have seen) is there space to put sticks in all 4 slots or is there not enough space??

Also worried about air flow between if they are almost touching???

can somebody7 please clarify this for me :)

It really depends on the dimensions of the Heatspreaders. Most are a universal size and doesn't really matter if they almost touch, because thats why they are called Heatspreaders. They Spread the heat!

cool, i think that solves that problem then :), just worried a bit bout the implications of heat build up in the central stick ie 2&3 :)

most shud be a standard size. for example i had some geil sticks of ram with heatspreaders on them in a shuttle case there was a fraction of a mm between the two sticks but they were ok. only ones i wud see being a prob are the top of rnage corsair ones with all the leds and temp readings on them as they are quite wide.
