laptop error problem

    Hi Guys,

    I am new to this forum and have a problem :(

    Hi Guys,

    My laptop is coming up with the following error:

    C:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\LXBTtime.DLL

    I have tried several undelete programs but still cant find this file. i know its a lexmark printer error but i have not got a printer my mate must have installed one and deleted it.

    this comes up when i start my computer and its winding me up theres no printer driver on my laptop and i dont need one so how can i stop this error?

    maybe the printer drivers weren't properly uninstalled and that's what's causing this error message...might not be but i'm just throwing ideas around...

    its as soon as windows starts up, i have removed the remaining printer drivers and now this started, cant find the dll anywhere either!

    trying installing the drivers and then uninstalling them, maybe it would remove the startup problem.

    Try turning off the Print Spooling service in msconfig!

    If you disable the Print Spooling service, then doesn't that mean that you can't print at all?
