Filed an RMA with newegg to send me a new one. Any idea wtf is going on? I know my PSU can handle it... At boot up the slpash screen has hundreds of vertical white lines scattered everywhere, and well you can see what the desktop is looking like ( vertical red lines ) Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Well then, it's probably faulty RAM!
What card did you have and what card did you get?

Send it back to Newegg, or if they won't do it you might be able to RMA it to ATi.

whats it like in games? everyhting else looks normal, maybe the drivers are faulty.
*edit* oh, never looked at picture close enough, i see all the lines going down the scrren, i onyl get that if i overclock graphics card too much and then stuff freezes.
yea, even i would say its faulty ram.

post a screenshot of what its like in games or applications.

RMA has been approved, send it back through UPS this morning. So lets hope they are nice about it and send me a replacement without any more troubles.

As for what it looked like in games...well.....it looked like everything was drooping down to the bottom of the screen. Completely unusable.. oh well.... as long as i get a new "good" one I dont mind the wait.

One last question, this is my first RMA. If my RMA has been approved through the website then they have to give me an exchange right?
