Why Microsoft? Did they develop Blu-Ray?

I saw an artical about Blu-Ray a while ago in a magazine.
It looked awsom but the price tag was horendous and the cartridge (that's what it looked like) looked like whoever would want to embrase the technology will also have to get a new drive..... which means 'disk' out

To me it looks like technology for rich people only....
Then again that is what they probably said about the compact disk...

So I'm anl ol', boring fart..... who gives a :swear:

Micsrosoft didn't implement blu-ray discs into the Xbox-360 so they are stuck with DVD's. Also, the price for blu-ray disc's will go down just as CD's and DVD's did.

Yeah but they'll revise it to HD DVD or something better when the time comes when games require larger capacity disks. Though it is a little worrysome when we see new Xbox 360 games are around $60 a pop and they're dual layer DVD's. What will PS3 games cost!

And don't worry sabashuali, you're not boring, you're a cool dude:)
