Whats the most annoying thing about your keyboard? With me, i hate where the Windows key is placed because no matter how much i try, i usually miss the CTRL key and hit Windows by mistake causing HL2 to revert back to the desktop! I hate it when you get a keyboard when they place the 'Sleep' key right next to the F1 key, causing me to put my computer into standby instead of pressing F1. And i especially hate it when i use a keyboard with a tiny Backspace key, this usually causes me to hit = instead of Backspace!
Yes, the dreaded Windows key. Back when HL1 was new, I had the same problem. I would always accidentally swap out of HL right at an inopportune moment, eventually causing a system crash/lockup. Imagine my surprise the first time I swapped out of a game in Linux... there I was, back at my desktop... hmm, running nice and snappy, but I can hear the game in the background. Swap back in... wow! Didn't so much as hickup. But I digress, the Windows key sucks.
My keyboard is nice, it's a wireless one (Microsoft) but the keys are a bit ar apart, some keyboards have really close keys but these are quite far apart, and the travel on them is a long way...and the keys are big a clunky, causing my mum to shout at me when i'm typing late at night because the noise annoys her...I've got a new keyboard coming soon though (next couple of days hopefully) got it cheap and it's got short travel keys and they're not very high and are quite close as well, plus they are translucent and light up blue when a button is pressed on top...
Well, the most annyoing thing on MY keyboard is the stupid little buttons at the top "home, email, favorites, mute" Other than that, I like my keyboard. A nice, cheap logitech keyboard that has been great for gaming.
The 'F' key. Not the letter F, it's a button on the kinda keyboard I have that sits near the 'change user' button (RIGHT next to the Esc key, that one is another one). But if I forget to press this button after restarting, none of the F keys work, I have to press this button to enable the F keys to resume their normal purpose.
I have one of them keys, it's called F-Lock on mine and is positioned above the NumPad... it doesn't annoy me though...
The most annoying thing is that part of the keyboard is under the desk (got one of those ones with a slide-out draw) and that happens to be one of the keys that's under the desk.
Damn that sucks...my dad built me a custom desk (wraps around one and a bit of my walls) and it's got more than enough space for stuff, apart from the clunkiness my keyboard is pretty good...also it's wireless so when my phone rings the signal from the phone interfers with the keyboard and stops keys from working while it's on, damn thing...
