are ps2 emulators legal if your using them to play retail ps2 games that you have bought from the shops?
Hmmm... not sure. I would say yes, why not-they're my games! but then i'd say no, your playing them on PC and not PS2. Anyone else?
Something tells me know, perhaps you have to wait till the console is phased out? Fortunately you can snag one for cheap of ebay as aways.
i have a console, its just i cant get it to work through the pc with good picture and any sound. so if it legal if i own the game, is there any good ps2 emulators that work for the retail games, eg inserting dvd into drive.
Oh well if you own the console and the game yeah that's fine, my bad. Hmmm http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/ps2/, just realize that you're taking a big risk here, sites with stuff like this will most likely load you up with spyware could try BitTorrent or a similar P2P program alternatively.
thanks, today i managed to get ps2 working through computer, aLL this time i had the stuff to do it, i just couldent get sound, so i found this audio jack when i was just pottering about, and thought, this might make sound work, and it did, so i dont need emulators now . EDIT** pictures has gone bad again, so i am resorting to emulator, what do i do about the bios things? were do i get bioses? :s
its legal to use them if you own the console and your own the game your playing. If not you must delete them within 24 hours of downloading them. Also Id be wary of PS2 emus because maority are bundled with Malware
