Has anyone ran into this problem before?

I have a problem when running Internet Explorer version 6.0.2800.1106. The text is very large, much larger than normal. Some web pages are not affected, but most are. The display settings on my computer are set to 800x600 at 16K. All other programs including the operating system look and run fine. I tried changing the text size in Explorer to "Smallest" in the "View" settings but the text is still too large. Most web pages are off the screen and I have to scroll left or right to navigate them.

Thank you again for any help or advice! =)

    hi,

what you need to do is, go into google, then do a search for anyhting, lets say ....eggs, when the results have been displayed hold down the control key (Ctrl) then just scroll the mouse wheel up or down to change the font size.

Thank you but this does the same thing as changing the text size in the "view" options of Explorer. I am thankful for your advice but at the smallest text setting the test is still too large. Some pages display perfectly while others do not. Do you think reinstalling Explorer may help?

Well try something like Firefox and see if it happens, also Firefox is superior to IE anyway so it's a good thing to change!

Yep, I've had that problem with IE too. Doesn't happen with the FOX though. Try it, you might never want to go back !! :ff:

Yes, between Firefox and Netscape.... I like them both. I will never use Explorer again. LOL. I am away from home now using my laptop. My home PC will love me once Firefox is installed. Also noted..... everyone with a computer at work are now converted to the Firefox side...... May the force be with you all.
