Does Windows XP Media Centre have dual core support?

    I'm very confused on whether to buy Media Centre or Professional edition. I am getting a dual core processor so I want the operating system that supports it. I heard that Media Centre is very good at running games and has quite a good interface. I also heard that Professional on the other hand supports dual core. Does Media Centre support dual core so I can take advantage of it? Thanks

    As far as I am aware, you can no longer buy Windows Media Center as a 'standalone' anymore. You have to buy a 'media PC' with it already installed. Thats the only way you can get hold of it
