    hey everyone,

3 weeks ago my mobo messed up, so i thought i would get a new one.
i looked around for a new socket a mobo, and couldnt decide what to do.
    i had an old presario, with an 3000+xp, 1gb pc2700, x800pro.......
My computer was ageing before my very eyes!!
I have now gone from a new mobo, to a whole new system!...

    Which is...

    mobo- Abit an8 sli
Case- Akasa Clear UV Reactive Acrylic
    Ram- 1gb Geil ddr400/pc3200
    CPU- AMD 4000+ @2.4ghz
    GPU- XFX 7800gt Extreme Edition
    cpu heatsink/faN- Gigabyte g-power pro
PSU- Hyper type R 580w (very nice)
5x 120mm teck chain system fans

and my old hdd and opticals

i will soon be putting the old cpu, gpu and ram in the for sale part of this site soon.

What do you all think of my new system? i will put some pics up soon

yeah, that was a mistake, its not the typer, just the blue one, also have a uv light in it, looks great, as the psu cables are uv reactive, as are a lot of the components.
my mobo, has this guru application, and i just oced it to 2.6, which is the same as an fx-55, so im happy for now. the gigabyre heatsink and fan is about 4 times bigger than the stock one

Are you sure that psu you have is not a Hiper type R?
it looks like one, and it's 580W, and only the hiper type R's are 580/630w

yours is modular aswell is it?
you know, you screw the cables into the psu?

which one of those is it on overclocker's?
    they are all TYPE-R

    Hiper HPU-4B580 Type R 580W Modular ATX2.2 PSU - Blue (CA-006-HP)
    Hiper HPU-4K580-MK Type R 580W Modular ATX2.2 PSU - Red UV (CA-008-HP)
    Hiper HPU-4K580-MK Type R 580W Modular ATX2.2 PSU - Black UV (CA-005-HP)

if it is a modualar psu, it is a type r, as the only modualr psu's made by hiper are the type-R

if it is exatly the same as a type-r, then it is a type r, just with the type-r on it.
