problem with drives not reading software

    anyone got any ideas puter loaded win xp pro but wont load any software programs nero ect comes up with it is not a win 32 command reads the disk shows the set up as a file a blue box has me lost it worked fine before reboot but done a quick ntfs format on drive as there were 3 trojans found in it before reboot:confused:

    I don't mean to be rude, but I couldn't understand a word of that! :rolleyes:

    Could you repeat your problem with the correct use of grammer and punctuation!

    I know this is not an English class, but it would help us greatly if we could understand what you are on about :)

    didnt do much grammar at school as for punctuation . am scottish and thats the way we write if you have a problem understanding what i wrote i suggest you take it a line at a time and read it slow lol. but as far as the problem is concerned basicaly i had to reboot a computer that i found 3 trojan worms on i formated the drive with windows xp pro disc before i put xp back on. now the cdrw/dvd drive wont install any programs nero ect says that nero is not a valid win 32 command :rolleyes: well any ideas

    I didn’t mean to cause any offence, as your private message portrays. Troubleshooting Windows problems can be difficult at best, and it helps to be able to understand the problem before applying corrective measures. I never said you couldn’t punctuate or use correct grammar, I had assumed you just rushed typed your query!

    Back to the problem at hand :) At a guess I would say your Nero installer is corrupt, rather then Windows. You should try downloading a new Nero installer to fix the problem.

    :) thanks for ideas, but got it sorted prob was within registry files within windows files 2 parts of registry files were corrupt
