Hi, all! Do you know how is created a motherboard and BIOS serial number? Is it unique number? is there a rule to create this? Thanks in advance.
The motherboard's serial number should be etched onto the motherboard. BIOS's don't usually have serial numbers. They have version numbers though, and you can see them whenever your computer boots (in the POST). If you have a branded computer, you may not see the POST (you may only see the company logo). If this is the case, you will need to enter the CMOS setup utility to find more information
