CPU Clock problem

    Hi
    I m using a pentium 4 (intel MB) system.
    Since the last week my system says
    "cpu has been changed or cpu clock check failed press f1 to continue"

    Please help me solve this problem.After pressing f1 booting occurs!!!

    Wht could be the problem?

    Nb. I v'nt changed anything

    First place to look is you BIOS.
    You need to make sure that BIOS recognises the CPU correctly and that it is running at the correct speed.

    If all fails you can attempt to reset your CMOS and try to boot again.

    Please post back if you are not sure of the above...

    You will need to enter your CMOS setup as sabashuali suggested. Have a look around for your CPU settings, and make sure the CPU clock speed is set to AUTO. If this does not correct your problem, you may have to manually enter the correct CPU settings.
    This will mean you need to enter the CPU clock, Bus speed and Voltage
