Given that you have the ATA133 support thanks to the chipset you have (VIA KM400 + VT8235), basically, any drive size out there should work.

Are you refering to RAM slots there?

You should put that stick in the first slot (slot 0)

    :eek:hah:
How does it affects the computer, if I leave the first slot Empty and use the second one........ U mean it increases the distance and RAM takes more time to access the Memory.........lol......~!

Some motherboards require that the first slot (nearest the processor) be used first. Otherwise they don't work properly (sometimes not at all). It's as simple as that.

If you re-read what you've wrote, you will see it doesn't make any sense :)

Although some motherboards may require the first slot to be used before anything else, if it doesn't have any problems then its fine to use other slots. I have done this before and never noticed any performance degrading.

Some motherboards will work fine with the first slot empty. However it makes good practice to always fill the first slot.

I just put it in any slot.....So I thought may b i m doin wrong.......

Nd according to the logic I said this is..... if you think about electricity supply... person at last will recieve at last......and will recieve lesser than all others.......U must have studied token ring topology in networknig...... Person at the end recieve data at the end........Now u got my point.

Hehe, I understood what you were trying to say in the first place. But the way you wrote it doesn't make any sense:

You are saying RAM takes more time to be accessed by memory? RAM and memory are the same thing! Are you trying to say it takes more time to access itself :D I'm only playing around, this is what you should have said:
