Hi Guys Hope someone can help? I shares a computer with 3 others and tried to load spyware on my log in, it installed and worked great the only problem is the other users could set it up on there log in as well. I put the software in c/program files and someone suggested putting it in a shared folder so that there is only one version that I can access but where? Thank guys Tricia
I think (hope) by spyware software, you mean antispyware software. Big difference. What software is it? If it is a free download, an easy work around would just be downloading it on everyone's account, though if it is in program files, it should be on everyones. What OS is this? Is it possible it is installed for everyone, you are just not seeing it because there are no icons? Did you go to c:/program files and look for it?
I am drwing my answer from experience, installing programs on a computer shared by a few more than 3 people. Even when I installed the program on the data partition (normally D: and hold all other users profile directories), in contarst to the system partition (normally C: and holds all the shared programs), it seem to serve all other users alike. You need to check with your freinds whether they can see and use this particular programs. But I am pretty sure they can.
Hi sorry the program is 'silentlogger' and when I put it in the c drive it shows up on everyones log in. We all have different log ins. Any suggestions guys? Thank you
