A friend e-mailed me a couple of videos but they are in the .avi format, and I cant get them to play. How do I do this? I know that I need to download the codecs but I don't know where to get them w/o malware
Download and install either the Xvid or DivX codec packs and they will allow you to play AVI videos. If after you have installed them and the videos don't play, then they're probably corrupted.
