    Hi all :)

I just need some help on upgrading my pc and few recommandations as this is the first time i'm doing it. The motherboard i got at the moment is the Quasar (MS6786) V1.0 µATX motherboard...
I want to upgrade my memory by adding 512mb on top of what i currently got 256mb. I found this memory chip and i want to know if its suitable...

I also want to upgrade my graphics card. This is more difficult for me to choose upon and i'm worried that it might not be able to fit in my pc.
Heres a link from ebuyer of some graphics card.

My budget is limited so try not to go over £40 (Which includes VAT) for the graphics card.

    Thanks alot ;) :D

That RAM is the right type for your motherboard. However, I wouldn't recommend getting that stick because it's an Ebuyer extra value item. A lot of eBuyer's extra value stuff is knocked off, and half of it doesn't work! I'd recommend you spend a little more on RAM and go for some Kingston or NEC

As for the graphics card, you need an AGP X8 (AGP 3.0) compatible card. Basically any modern day AGP card will work

Sorry I don't have time to do your shopping for you  , however that stick of RAM will not work in your motherboard. You need to buy PC2700 333MHz DDR RAM.

I am no expert on Graphics cards, however £30 is not going to buy state-of-the-art, if you know what I mean. On a good note though, even a card in this price range will be better then the on-board graphics adaptors found on most motherboards.
