Will a geforce fx 5500 work on my P4VMM2 motherboard? im planning on upgrading by buying a new video card but i feel skeptic that it might not work on my motherboard since a p4vmm2 does not support 8x agp. I've read at the back of box of a geforce fx5500 that it supports 2x/4x/8x. Does this mean it would work on my motherboard? or it means that it would work on an agp slot with a universal agp slot only! pls help, im confused...

That card should work fine on that board.
It will revert itself back to AGP 4x mode.
