Will this mobo support pc2700ram?

    Yes, but if you are doing anything taxing on the computer (for example playing games) that ram probally wont cut it. Even cheap cas 2.5 PC3200 ram would be better.

    Actually, with the Athlon64, the memory speed isn't going to make a great deal of difference. The memory controller is integrated into the CPU itself, and to run with the RAM, it has to run at a divider to start with. The thing is, the memory controller is so close to the CPU, that the slowdown doesn't affect performance enough to kill the CPU's performace. That's the secret to the A64's performance, NOT the 64-bit capabilities.

    However, yes, ultimately, you are better served by faster RAM for the best performance. To start with, it's not a bad way to go to save some money.
