2nd Harddrive probs

    Hi

    i wonder if any could help me with a problem i'm having, i installed a 2nd hard drive in my sons computer which i made it slave. in the bios its is all there and everything but in the Windows enviroment theres no sign of it i run windows XP pro with sp2, if anyone has any idea what the prob could be please let me know. :rolleyes: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

    Have you formatted the second drive?

    Start >> Control panel >> Administrative Tools >> Computer Management

    select Disk Management, you can format the drive from there!

    You will need to initiate your new hard drive in the Disk Management console.
    You should see all of your drives at the bottom, with coloured bars going across. You need to right click the new drive and select initiate. Right click the drive again and select new partition. A wizard will begin and guide you though the next steps. Once you have partitioned the drive, you will need to format it. Right click your new partition and select format
