Hi all, I have a ATi 9200 or maybe 9250 but the card isn't being detected so I can't play any games!

The drivers are not installed but thats because I can't find the disc! Can I download them from online? Thanks!

this might sound stupid, but, remove and reinsert your graphic card, see if that works, failing that it would usful to know which operating system you are using and possibly the writing on the microchip (the big one on your graphics card

The 9200 and the 9250 share the same drivers. Windows XP should automatically install these for you. However, the Windows drivers only provide basic functionality, so I recommend downloading the latest drivers from ATI.

You haven't specified your OS, so I'll assume it's XP

Microsoft .NET framework is needed to install the drivers. You can download it here

Once that's installed, you can download your video card drivers here

Microsoft .NET is only needed if you intend to use the Control Center.
Just the driver package can be used and can be had Here.
Or look at This page for more info.

I tried moving the card about and it didn't work but I downloaded the latest catalyst drivers with NET 1.1 and it worked the graphics card is picked up!

Thanks for the help guys.. unfortunately it doesn't end here though, one of my games namely Rise of Nations doesn't work, as soon as it boots up it freezes.. my other games work fine, I think it's a case of patching RON.

Oh man it's not a simple case of patching it's worse, the computer freezes whenever I try to view video, whether it's the video that loads up at the start of RON or a movie I try to view from DVD/CD/HDD it freezes right away.

I thought this was a hardware problem but last time round I fixed it without any hardware replacement, problem is I can't remember exactly how I fixed it, some adjusting or something.. any ideas guys?
