Could someone please tell me whether I will beable to open documents created by MS Office 2003 with Office 2000?
I'm on Windows XP but worried I'll loose information. Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi Pamela and welcome to the forum.

Just to confirm - you are using XP and office 2000?
    or XP and office 2003?

If you created a document under office 2003 why do you need to open it under 2000?

I am pretty sure I managed to do this with Word but it was a long time ago and I cannot remember the results. I am sure there were a number of warnings but I think it worked....

I had Office 2003 on trial and now the time is up I need to use my old 2000 version, not sure if I will loose any information when I try to open my saved documents.

As long as Word's compatibility options were set to Office 2000 you'll be able to read them. If you created simple documents with text and a picture or two, the formatting will be the same.
