I have just purchased an NVidia GeForce 5600 256MB DDR AGP card that i stupidly set at a resolution higher than my monitors capability (Iiyama 17"LCD) and now I can't change the resolution as my screen is scrambled - stupid I know. I have tried to change the resolution through Safe Mode but to no avail.

I suppose the obvious is to through the card away and buy another or buy a high end monitor.

    Anyone got any other ideas?

    NB
The operating system is Win 2000.

Reboot your machine into VGA mode and then set the correct resolution.
    That should solve your problem.

Keep pressing F8 before windows loads and youll have a menu where you can choose the type of boot. Then choose VGA or last known good configuration.
