    Can Anyone Please Tell Me The Jumper Settings For Plextor Dvd Rom Px-130a

    it depends i presume your talking about the master/slave jumper

    right then, do you any other IDE devices (excluding hard drive, hdd)

    i'm not too sure because i'm not familiar with SATI but i would have thought you could set it as either (master or slave) and just plug it in to your drive but i think you may need an adaptor, but i'm not familiar with SATI, so i'd wait until someone else can give you a more definate answer, sorry

    i don't think there is a master/slave in SATA

    see, that proves i don't know much about SATA because i called it SATI

    right i've found the information you need, IDE devices plug into the IDE cables but the SATA devices plug into the SATA connector(s) on the M/B, what is your M/B (make and model) you can also get SATA CD/DVD drives

    Ideally, you'll want to set the Plextor to Master.
